Winners are selected by thirteen professional film bodies in Hong Kong who vote, followed by an independent panel of judges; previously awarded nominees cannot reapply within five years.
The Hong Kong Literature Prize is an elite writing contest that recognizes works from Hong Kong. Over its history, many authors have received this honor, helping build their careers and raise cultural awareness of Hong Kong. To be considered for this prize, an author must submit their work before its submission deadline – winners will be revealed during a ceremony scheduled in late June or July.
